SunOpta, a leader in sustainable, plant-based food and beverages, envisioned a headquarters that would accelerate innovation, foster collaboration, and reflect its commitment to sustainability. Partnering with Spye, the goal was to create an AV-integrated environment that supports these objectives across diverse spaces, including offices, labs, and a central town hall.

Several years ago, Spye beat out the incumbent vendor to provide service for Jamf’s Eau Claire Headquarters. Based on our superior performance in servicing their needs for responsiveness and quality we became their trusted global AV partner. Since then we have successfully completed over $5M in projects including a new HQ in Minneapolis and offices around the globe. The result of these projects is a common interface and backend that drives financial savings due to the efficiency of communication for employees and a deep, intuitive working relationship with Spye. A highlight of our partnership with Jamf was a branded interface for AV control touch panels throughout the office and custom furniture to match the aesthetic of the architecture. This project is a perfect example of Spye’s approach to mixing design and engineering to create a highly functional and beautiful design along with the consistent white glove service that earned us the account in the beginning.

Spye worked directly with Mr. David Mortenson and RSP Architects over 18 months to deliver a one-of-a-kind lobby experience for its visitors and employees that encapsulates the company’s 100-year history while emphasizing the massive scope and scale of the business. Spye delivered on this request across 3 unique video wall installations— Legacy Wall, Working Wall, and the “BluBox” Innovation video wall. Animation, programming, consultation, system design, installation and ongoing service provided by Spye.

Spye won an open bid process to become the design build resource for a site-wide expansion of the Navy Pier.
